Christmas in the Hills

My last card for my stamping Saturday, I painted this background with watery Distress Inks using a paper mask to make my hills. I then used a pine tree to create some interest to my scene. I then double cut my sentiment and off set the layers so it looks like snow on the sentiment as well. As you can see, the grass is starting to poke through as the snow melts which works beautifully with the latest prompt from CASology.

Mr & Mrs

The third card on my list of cards to make today...this one is for my cousin and her soon to be husband. I have part embossed my card then popdotted some flowers randomly of the embossing. I also scored the edge of the embossing just to neaten the edge and finished if off with some blue pearls (the colour of her bridesmaid) and put a small sentiment in the bottom corner. Starry Birthday

Another 21st Birthday card but this time I didn't add a 21. I die cut the 'happy' and the stars then filled the cut outs with glittery DP cut from the same dies. I then stamped 'birthday' underneath to finish it off. I'm adding my card to the following challenges...

Woodgrain Birthday

It's good to be at my desk for a play day and as it so happens I have a list of cards that I need to make and this is my first card for the day. I have used some of my DP stash for my woodgrain background which I die cut the Happy Birthday out of. I also cut the top off to just give it a little something else, then I mounted a 21 to finish it off. No stamping today but that happens some days. Thanks for stopping in, I'm adding my card to the following challenges...

Seasons Greetings

Hi All, my card today was nice and easy...I decided to use some of my DP that is sitting there collecting dust and as it says it all, I just added my sentiment with a die cut banner and stamped sentiment. I like these sort of Christmas cards, nice, easy and quick. Thanks for taking a peek....I'm adding my card to the following challenges:

Joy to the World

My first Christmas card for 2017! For todays card I have used a stamp I haven't used in a long time and actually clear embossed it! I don't tend to emboss as much as I used to...I then die cut my joy and stamped the rest of the sentiment, edged my card with a cuttlebug embossing folder and added some dots to finish. I am adding my card to the following challenges...
