White Christmas

I'm on a roll today...another Christmas card for my collection and for this card I used Bonnie's card from CAS Watercolour Card Challenge for inspiration which I think is just stunning! The DT from CAS Watercolour Card Challenge's latest challenge is to use Text other than your Sentiment and I'm also adding my card to Power & Spark who want Pink and Crafty Cardmakers who asked for Embossing. Well my day of stamping is sadly coming to an end...I hope your weekend is off to a good start with lots of stamping. Thanks for popping in...

Merry Everything

Another Christmas card for my stamping Saturday...for this card I have once again used a watercolour background and then stamped my Christmas lights. All of the Christmas stamps I used, I have used for the first time...always a good feeling. I then traced my Christmas light lead with glitter to jazz it up a bit. I'm adding my card to the latest Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge who want Watercolour and Christmas Card Challenge who asked for Glitter. Thanks for popping in...

Christmas Wishes

Well it's been a while since I have posted a card and of course Christmas is on everyone's mind as it is mine, so today's card is just that. I have used a watercolour background with a die cut Christmas tree and a gold punched star. I then stamped Christmas Wishes by using two different sets and added another little star to the sentiment. I'm entering my card to the Happy Little Stampers November challenge who want 'Watercolour' and to ABC Christmas Challenge who asked for 'Wish'. Thanks for stopping in...

From our Family

After the hectic week I have had, it was nice to sneak out to my craft room and have a bit of a play. Obviously Christmas cards are high on everyone list as well as mine and as I was going through my emails, I spotted a card that Therese Calvird made for the Altenew blog and I just loved the simplicity of it so much I had to case it. For my card I actually used 2 different trees and three different colours and took the plunge and used black as one of those colours, I also added a bit of bling to give it a bit of sparkle as it was a bit dark but overall I am really happy with the end result, thanks for the inspiration Therese. I'm adding my card to these blogs...Stamps & Stencils want an Element of Nature and Art Impressions are Prepping for Christmas. Thanks for stopping in, until next time, happy stamping.

Twinkle Twinkle

It's been a while since I have had a play in my craft room so it was nice to sit down and create something. To top it off my good friend Robyn came over to have a day of stamping as well. For this card, I have taken up the challenge from Polkadoodles who have an Anything Goes Christmas, Muse Christmas Visions where we have used Cornelia's card for inspiration and over at Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge they want a song used as a theme, which I have used Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I not only got to use a new Christmas stamp set but I also used a background that I have had sitting on my desk for ages....so a good day all round. Thanks for stopping in...

Happy Father's Day

Another quick card as I realised I hadn't made a Father's Day card which is this Sunday and as we are going away for the weekend, it was now or never! I tell you, I am more organised when I am working then when I have time off...I am into the last few days of my two weeks off and I am scrambling to make cards!! Anyway, this is one of the backgrounds I made last week with my Brusho's to have on standby for such occasions and I also got to use a couple of stamps that I haven't used before too, so I'm happy. I love these chunky sentiments! I am adding my card to the latest Sketch over at STAMPlorations and over at Cardz 4 Guyz.  they want 'Something starting with F' which is my Father's Day card and Lemon Shortbread have an Anything Goes challenge. I'm off for a weekend of music...hope you have a good one too. Thanks for stopping by...

Congratulations

I haven't been well the last couple of days but today I received a lovely message telling me that our Goddaughter had had her first baby...a lovely little girl named Aylah. So I have dragged myself out to my craft room (this is not normally a chore) to whip up a card for her as we are away for the weekend and then I am away all next week starting my new job....so it's now or never! Anyway, I have several images that you can use on Baby cards but I keep coming back to this one as I think he/she is really cute. I have used the latest sketch from the DT at Try Stampin' On Tuesday for my inspiration and was really happy with the design as I got to use my pennant die that I am pretty sure unused up until today. I'm also adding my card to Through The Craft Room Door who have 'Anything Goes'.  As always...thanks for popping in...

Floral Birthday

I can't believe I am into my second week off of my two week break already! Where do the days go??
At least I have been able to have a bit of crafting time and today I have decided to play with my Brusho's to create some backgrounds. I have used one of them for this card and used my favourite floral die...I just love how dainty it is without getting lost. I am entering my card into the latest Muse challenge where we have been asked to use Marilyn's gorgeous card (posted below) for inspiration and I've used the latest colour challenge from The Paper Girls. Thanks for stopping by.....

Christmas Squares

I'm still in Christmas mode at the moment and today I've used the latest sketch from the DT at CAS(E) this sketch. I picked out some Christmas words and then highlighted my main sentiment with red backing card and then put it up on some pop dots as well. I also added a small strip of red down the opposite side to add a bit more colour. Thanks for popping in....

Noel

My second card for today and another Christmas Card. For this layout I have cased this months designer Gloria Lee over at Happy Little Stampers. Have a look at her very pretty card at the bottom of this post....love the colours Gloria has used! Anyway, I'm in the Christmas zone so for my design I framed the NOEL with ivy...which looking at it now, I might just add a couple of berries (red gems) to my ivy. Well, I'm off to organise dinner, thanks for taking a peek.

The Best Gift of All

The prompt from the DT from 52 (Christmas) Card Throwdown this week is 'Gift'...so thinking outside the square (so to speak) I scored the sides and a frame around this sentiment about the family being the best gift of all and added a bow to the top. Pop dotted a Christmas tree in the same colour as the contrasting mat and added some tiny bling to dress the tree up a bit...CAS which is what I like and another xmas card for my collection. Happy Hump Day!

Love,Peace,Joy

Another card for my stamping day and another one for my Christmas stash. For this card, I have taken up the challenge from the DT at Addicted to CAS who's prompt is Silhouette. I have discovered only just recently that I love creating with silhouettes so I was keen to create a card with one. I had a bit of background card I had created previously with my DI's laying around so I used that for my pop of colour then stamped a dove on it, framed it with black card and added my verse. I love how it all turned so created a second one with my left over background card. Well, that's it for me today, thanks for popping in...

Spotlight on Lillies

Hi All, I've been having one of those days today with our internet...it just kept dropping in and out...frustrating...so I'm only now getting a chance to post today's creations!! Anyway other than that, I have had a great day stamping with my good friend Robyn we haven't had a stamping day for a while now, so it was great to catch up and also have a play in my craft room. I made this card using the latest sketch from Just Add Ink and my second card using the spotlight technique. Thanks for popping in...

Christmas Greetings

Another Christmas card today, for this card I have used the Just us Girls colour combo and a couple of my Christmas dies. I tend to keep my Christmas cards pretty CAS as you have so many to make...thanks for popping in.

Peace on Earth

For today's card I have used the spotlight technique...a technique I really like but rarely do. I also used the latest sketch from the DT at Just Add Ink for  my layout. I stamped my angel with grey and then spotlighted her with gold. I then added a die cut 'peace' in gold, framed the layer in gold as well to tie it all together and added 'on earth' from another stamp. Another Chrissy card for my collection...very happy. Thanks for stopping by....
