December 25...

Well friends...this is my last creation for 2013! I am off to have a swim (and a drink) in the pool with my hubby before the neighbors come over for New Years drinks. I can't believe how quick this card came together for me and I am happy that I was able to use some new Annabelle stamps I got last month. For this card I have taken up the challenge from the Retro Sketches team. I usually struggle with this type of design but this one just fell into place. Until tomorrow...2014....all the best and I hope the new year brings you lots of love and good fortune. Happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas to one and all....

I'm back with another set of 3 Christmas cards....I'm on a roll!! hehe....for this card I have used the latest sketch from Unscripted Sketches pop on over and play along. Happy New Years Eve to all!!

Sometimes when dreams come true....

I made this card this afternoon using the latest sketch over at Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge...they are celebrating their 200th sketch so pop on over and play if you can. I had intended to make a Christmas card for next years stash....while I'm still in the Christmas mood....but to me this sketch really lent its self to a female card and I had the urge to use some flowers (I loooove flowers). I also used a new embossing folder, a new stamp set and a new pack of DP I picked up recently so I am posting my card over at Red Carpet Studio where they want something NEW to celebrate New Years Eve. Until next time, happy stamping....

Happy Birthday....Just Because....

Here are a couple of cards I have made over the Christmas break. I really like how the flowers surround the words.

Time Flies....

Here is a card I made using some inspiration from Pinterest but I am still learning how to get around that site and now can't find the card I cased....frustrating!! I really liked this card so I have made another one using different colours for an upcoming birthday. Thanks for popping by...

Squiggly Merry Christmas

Well it has been several weeks since I have been on my blog...mainly due to the fact that I have been having internet issues in my room. I have made several cards but not been able to post them...until today!! It feels so good to posting a card and I can't believe the first card I post AFTER Christmas is a Christmas card!! I have actually made 3 of these cards because they are so quick and easy to make so I am off and running for Christmas 2014!!
For this design I have used the latest sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch and I have used some new stamps I got from Annabelle Stamps that I haven't had a chance to play with until today.
I hope you have all had an amazing Christmas and I hope you all have an awesome New Years planned (I personally don't know what we're doing yet) and look forward to 'seeing' you all in 2014!

Christmas Window Card

Well here I am with the Christmas card I have made for some special friends. I have used some DP for the window scene which has turned out just so lovely! I have cuttlebugged the top layer and then dressed it up with some flowers and holly leaves. I have to make one more special Christmas card and then I should be done for 2013 (I hope, lol) As always, thanks for stopping by....

Celebrate!

Hello Stamping Friends, well it has been a few weeks since I have sat at my desk to make a card. It's my babies 16th birthday next week so I have made this card for her. She is such a beautiful girl....I love her so much and am so proud of how mature she is for her age, I hope she has a lovely day. For this card I have used the latest layout from Sketchbook Saturday...make sure you pop on over and check it out. I'll be back in a bit to post some Christmas cards I have made for some very special friends. Thanks for stopping by...

Christmas Cardinals

This is my last card for the day/night...I think I will go and have a shower and veg in front of the TV. This card is a little left of centre but I wanted to use my little cardinal (not that we get them in Oz...well I'm pretty sure). I tried all different colours but the black is what looked the best so I went with it. This layout is courtesy of the DT from The Paper Craft Crew. As always, thanks for popping by and I hope you have a great weekend. Until next time...happy stamping.

Christmas waves a magic wand....

My cards are coming out hard and fast at the moment which is a nice change as I have really lost my mojo of late. The fact that most of them are CAS cards helps...lol. Anyway, I have made this card using the latest challenge from Annabelle Stamps, as soon as I saw it I thought of this new stamp I got while on holiday. Make sure you pop on over and check out their blog. Thanks for stopping by...

Christmas Wishes

Well, I found this stunning card that Chupa made (check it out here) and I just had to case it! I love the contrast of the black and it was fun to play with my distress inks again....note to self, need more colours!! Thanks for the inspiration Chupa. I am also entering my card into Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge.

Season's Greetings

Well I'm back with another Christmas card for my collection. For this card I have used a bit of creative licence for the latest sketch from Cas(e) this Sketch. I have cut out the holly branch and then layered it on green. Nice and simple but I think it looks effective especially with my little berries.
Thanks for stopping by...Vikki
